Usage:
1. Put tooling (A) in position under the rear axle housing, and raise the vehicle with tooling (A) until the wheels to be removed are off the ground.
2. Remove all nuts (1) and washers except for two nuts 180° apart. Loosen the two nuts.
3. Put the forks of a lift truck in position under tire (2). Fasten the tire to the lift truck with tool (B).
4. Remove the two nuts and washers holding the tire and wheel to the rear axle, and remove the tire and rim. The weight of the tire and rim is 499 kg (1100 lb.).
5. Release the air pressure from the inside tire.
6. Remove four bolts (4) and plate (3).
7. Loosen locknut (6), and remove extension assembly (5).
8. Put the forks of a lift truck in position under the inside tire. Fasten the tire to the lift truck with tool (B).
9. Remove nuts (8) and the washer, and remove inside tire and rim (7). The weight of the inside tire and rim is 499 kg (1100 lb.).
Install Rear Tires And Rims
1. Make sure the mounting surfaces of wheel assembly (2) and both rims are clean and free of burrs, grease and oil.
2. Apply 2P2506 Thread Lubricant to the washer faces and the threads of the nuts that hold the inside tire and rim in position on wheel assembly (2).
3. Rotate the inside tire and rim with ring (3) facing outward so that valve group (4) will align with plate (5) when it is installed.
4. Fasten inside tire and rim (1) to a lift truck with tool (A). Put the inside tire and rim in position on wheel assembly (2) with ring (3) facing outward.
5. Install the washers and nuts that hold the tire and rim to the wheel assembly. Tighten the nuts to a torque of 1210 ± 55 N·m (890 ± 40 lb.ft.).
6. Install extension assembly (4), and tighten the locknut.
7. Install plate (5).
8. Apply 2P2506 Thread Lubricant to the face of the washers and the threads of the nuts that hold the outside tire and rim in position on the wheel assembly.
9. Fasten outside tire and rim (6) to a lift truck with tool (A). Put the outside tire and rim in position on the wheel assembly with the split ring facing inward.
10. Install the washers and nuts that hold the outside tire and rim to the wheel assembly. Tighten the nuts to a torque of 1210 ± 55 N·m (890 ± 40 lb.ft.).
