ACTION REQUIRED
- Disable engine from starting
- If fuel inlet and fuel return lines are not capped, do so, or connect hoses together to eliminate fuel spillage.
- Loosen two 7/16" bolts under bracket supporting Deutch connector (bolt holes have slotted openings
- Remove bracket and sit aside far enough to remove bolts and oil tube on fuel pump housing for servo valve.
- remove 11/16" fitting on oil line to housing and rotate fitting 90 degree toward inside of engine.
- Remove two 7/16" bolts from servo housing.
- Carefully remove top of housing, servo valve, and spring (gasket part # 1084420)
- Check for debris in servo valve. If none present reassemble in reverse order. If debris present continue.
- Replace top of servo housing only - do not install valve or spring.
13. Remove cover and reinstall valve and spring and reassemble in reverse order. Be certain to tighten 9/16" jam nut on 90 degree fitting on oil line out of servo valve housing.
