NOTE: This Program can be administered either before or after a failure. In either case the decision whether to apply the Program is made by the dealer. When reporting the repair, use "PS4039" as the Part Number and "7755" as the Group Number. If administered before failure, use "56" as the Warranty Claim Description Code and use "T" as the SIMS Description Code. If administered after failure, use "96" as the Warranty Claim Description Code and use "Z" as the SIMS Description Code.

The boost sensor on certain 3126 Truck Engines was disconnected to allow for better paint coverage during the electrostatic painting process.This allowed the electronic components of the sensor to become electrostatically damaged.The engine will experience low power as a result of a failed sensor and a sensor fault code (102-03 Open Circuit and 102-04 Short Circuit) may be registered in the Electronic Control Module (ECM).

Action Required
Replace the original 1112351 Boost Sensor with a new 1112351 Boost Sensor, if not previously replaced under another service letter program or earlier failure.
Clear the ECM logged faults, if any.
