NOTE: This Program must be administered as soon as possible. When reporting the repair, use "PI3012" as the Part Number, "7751" as the Group Number, "56" as the Warranty Claim Description Code and "T" as the SIMS Description Code. Exception: If the repair is done after failure, use "PI3012" as the Part Number, "7751" as the Group Number, "96" as the Warranty Claim Description Code, and "Z" as the SIMS Description Code.

A solenoid in brake control gp. needs to be replaced on certain 776C and 776B Tractors; and 777C and 777D Trucks. The 101-3431 Valve Gp. has the wrong solenoid installed which cause the diverter valve to operate incorrectly. This solenoid must be changed.

Dealers will need to order parts for this Program.
- 1 - 3E2273 Valve Group-Sol.
Action Required
Replace the 101-3430 Solenoid in the 101-3431 Valve Gp. that is used in the service brakes control groups with the 3E-2273 Solenoid.
1. Remove the 101-3430 Solenoid from the 101-3431 Valve Group found in the 8X-0348, 8X-0349, 8X-6471 and 141-6179 Control Groups-Service Brakes.
2. Install the 3E-2273 Solenoid in the 3E-3510 Manifold and tighten to 50 ± 5 N·M. The lower nut must be used when tightening.
3. The 101-3431 Valve Group part number that is engraved on the 3E-3510 Manifold must be removed and replaced with the new 145-5244 Valve Group part number. This new part number should be engraved as it is the only future reference to differentiate these valve groups.
