NOTE: This Program can only be administered after a failure occurs. The decision whether to apply the Program is made by the dealer. When reporting the repair, use "PS0701" as the Part Number and "7755" as the Group Number. Use "96" as the Warranty Claim Description Code and use "Z" as the SIMS Description Code.
NOTE: Although this Program is to be administered as described above on the Affected Product, parts should be removed from Parts Stock as soon as possible.

Remove all 7U7757 Flexible Exhaust Pipe Assemblies from dealer Parts Stock.
Affected Product
Remove the existing clamps and 7U7757 Flexible Exhaust Pipe Assembly. Some trucks may have a spring supported exhaust pipe. If so, remove the springs. Use two 7E6455 Clamps and install the new 1107590 Flexible Exhaust Pipe Assembly. The pipe must be installed with the longer collar toward the dump body. Both of the collars should extend 50 mm into the joints. See the Illustration.
NOTE: The end of the tube with the 200 mm long collar must be installed at the dump body end.

NOTE: This is a 1.5-hour job.
NOTE: If there has been a previous repair, part age will apply. Retain a copy of the previous repair work order in the dealer's records for audit purposes, and specify repair date and machine hours in the "Additional Comments" section of the warranty claim.
