New Turbine Housings Are The Replacement For Three Former Turbine Housings Used On Schwitzer Turbochargers

D348, D349 and D353 Engines As Shown in the Chart

Description of Change: The Schwitzer turbocharger groups now have a divided turbocharger housing, a combination V-band/coupling bore exducer and a gasket between the turbine housing and the cartridge. The new turbine housings are a replacement for three former housings used on 4HD and 4HF turbochargers.

Adaptable To: The new turbocharger groups are a direct replacement for the former turbocharger groups.

NOTE: Technical Partsgram SEBD2021-01 "Turbocharger Information System, Turbocharger Assembly Identification" has a complete list of turbocharger assembly part numbers and their service replacement part numbers.

The new turbine housings, used with the new gasket, are a direct replacement for the former turbine housings.
