Description of Change: Two new main bearing studs with oversize thread are available. The oversize thread is on the cylinder block end of the studs only. These new oversize studs can be used to replace the standard production main bearing stud if the threads in the cylinder block are damaged.
Adaptable To: The chart identifies the standard and oversize main bearings.
Specific machining of the cylinder block is required to install the oversize main bearing studs. This machining should be associated with the available tooling.
