Improved Governor Raise/Lower Motor Used In Governor Control Groups{1264}

Description of Change: An improved 28 Volt DC gear motor assembly is used in governor control groups on these engines. The improved motor assembly has better sealing to help prevent moisture entry. The improved motor assembly can be identified by the lack of a shaft and semi-rigid protective cap on the end of the motor with the wiring. The improved motor has an external "dip coating" that encapsulates motor to help prevent moisture entry.

Notice that there is no shaft or semi-rigid protective cap on the end of the motor closest to the wiring (2).

Adaptable To: The part number of the improved 7G-8802 28 VDC Gear Motor Assembly has not changed. This motor assembly is part of the 4W-7773 Motor Assembly that is used in the governor control groups on the above engines.
