CP-533 & CS-533 VIBRATORY COMPACTOR MACHINE SYSTEMS Caterpillar

1. Raise the rear of the machine so that the wheels are off the floor. Install two stands (B) under the rear of the machine.

2. Loosen eight nuts (1).

NOTE: On assembly, tighten nuts (1) to a torque of 435 ± 55 N·m (320 ± 40 lb ft).

Typical Example (Photo shows a CS-563 Vibratory Compactor, the wheel assembly is the same size on the CS-533 Vibratory Compactor.

3. Position a lift truck with the forks under the tire as shown. Use a puller (A) to fasten the wheel to the mast of the lift truck. Remove eight nuts (1). Remove the wheel. The weight of the wheel assembly is 680 kg (1500 lb).

NOTE: To install wheel assembly, reverse the removal steps.
