CP-533 & CS-533 VIBRATORY COMPACTOR MACHINE SYSTEMS Caterpillar

1. Remove precleaner (1).

2. Loosen bolt (5).

3. Remove exhaust pipe (2).

NOTE: The 3116 Engine on this model could be equipped with a muffler (an attachment) instead of a exhaust pipe.

4. Attach a suitable lifting device to hood (4).

5. Remove bolts (3) that secure the hood.

6. Remove hood (4). The weight of the unit is approximately 50 kg (110 lb).

NOTE: For installation of the hood, reverse the removal steps.
