The Part Number of Item Number 14 in the Chart, a Spacer, is not correct. The correct part number for the Spacer is 6N9340.

--------------- END SUPPLEMENT ---------------

On some twin engine boats, there is limited access to the oil filters on the PORT engine. Caterpillar has an engine oil lines group available that moves the filters from the left side to the right hand side of the engine. The individual parts of the 7C8653 Engine Oil Lines Group (not serviced) can be ordered with an engine. The parts can be installed by the dealer before the engine is delivered to the boat builder.

If you own a boat and want to relocate the oil filters to the right hand side of your engine, you will need the parts listed in the chart.

Check with your local Caterpillar dealer for availability and prices of these parts. Although only minimal mechanical ability and tools are required, you may want to have the local Caterpillar dealer install the parts for you.
