Boss Added To Keep Bolts From "Bottoming Out" In Expansion Tank Groups
Usage:
3508, 3512, 3516 Industrial, Marine, Generator Set Engines Built Prior To November 23, 1989
Description of Change: A boss is added to keep bolts from bottoming out in the expansion tank group. On earlier engines with the new expansion tank, four bolts could bottom out leaving the joint loose. The boss is located between the washer and the support.
Adaptable To: The new 8B9725 Boss has been added to 9Y5625 and 8N7717 Expansion Tank Groups. The boss is adaptable to earlier engines with the above expansion tank groups. Four bosses are required.
