Engine Oil Cooler - Remove and Install

Ruglyde Rubber Lubricant 

  1. Drain the coolant. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Cooling System Coolant (ELC) - Change".

  2. Remove eight bolts (3), two flanges (1), tube (2), and the O-ring seals.

  3. Disconnect hoses (5).

  4. Remove bolts (4), bolts (7), and elbow (6).

  5. Remove bolts (8), bolts (9), bolts (10), elbow (11), and the O-ring seals.

  6. Remove bolts (12), tube (13), and the O-ring seals.

  7. Remove bolts (14), bolts (17), bolts (18), elbow (16), flange (15), and the O-ring seals.

  8. Attach a suitable lifting device to engine oil cooler (20). The weight of engine oil cooler (20) is approximately 145 kg (320 lb).

  9. Remove eight bolts (19), eight bolts (21), engine oil cooler (20), and the O-ring seals.

Installation Procedure

  1. Install engine oil cooler (20) in the reverse order of removal.
