Intake Valve Seals Used
Usage:
3208 Naturally Aspirated Industrial, Marine, Generator Set Engines
Description of Change: Seals are now used on the intake valve stems in the above products. The seals give better oil control at idle or light load conditions.
Adaptable To: The 7W9143 Seals are effective with the following serial numbers:
- 3208 Industrial Engine - 90N68921
- 3208 Marine Engine - 75V9255
- 3208 Generator Set - 29A1602
- 3208 Marine Engine - 75V9255
The new seals are directly adaptable to earlier 3208 Naturally Aspirated Engines. The seals do not fit on turbocharged engines because of interference with the inner valve spring. The letters "IN" for "Intake" are on the end of the seals.
