Reference: Refer to Special Instruction, M0081103, "Engine Oil Contains Elevated Lead (Pb)".
The new special instruction provides additional details for monitoring and addressing oil condition concerns. Also the new engine SOS guidelines with changes in OXI, NIT, SUL limits and oil types CI4, CJ4, CK4 and Synthetics.
The special instruction can be found on the Caterpillar Service Information System (SIS) and through the normal literature distribution system at your local Cat dealer.
