Engine Crankshaft Vibration Damper Counter - Reset

Usage:

C32 TZJ
Use this procedure to reset the counter for vibration damper.

  1. Connect Cat® Electronic Technician (ET), release 2018B or newer.

  2. Select the "Service" tab in Cat ET.

    1. Click "Engine Crankshaft Damper Replacement".

  3. Make sure that the engine is not running.

  4. Click the rest at the bottom of the screen. As shown in Illustration 2.

  5. Verify that the reset worked by reviewing the value column reading is 0. As shown in Illustration 3.

If the procedure did not correct the issue, contact your Cat Technical Communicator (TC). For further assistance, your TC can confer with the Dealer Solution Network (DSN).
