New Washer Used In Fuel Transfer Pump Group

3500 Family of Engines
Description of Change: A new washer is used under the relief valve cap on the fuel transfer pump group used on the 3500 Family of Engines. See the illustration. The former washer was made of steel. The new washer is made of soft copper which will provide a better seal between the relief valve cap and the pump body. This will help prevent fuel leakage at the relief valve cap.
Adaptable As: The new soft copper 7W3556 Washer is a direct replacement for the former steel 5L5180 Washer in the 1N4478 Fuel Transfer Pump Group on the 3500 Family of Engines.
Location of new 7W3556 Washer.
