Usage:
All 3500 Family Engines Equipped With 7C341, 7C345 or 7C2239 Injectors
When checking injector synchronization with the 8T2684 Rack Synchronization Gauge, the gauge fits between the rack collar and the injector body. On earlier 10.7 mm injectors, the gauge would contact the injector body. With the new 11.0 mm injectors (7C341, 7C345 or 7C2239), the gauge will contact the top of the injector trim screw rather than the injector body. These injectors have been adjusted to provide calibration with the gauge contacting the top of the screw. When making the adjustment the feel may be slightly different because only a small area of the gauge will be in contact with the screw.
NOTE: Calibration of the 7C341, 7C345 and 7C2239 Injector Assemblies is made by adjustment of the trim screw. Because of this, do not turn the trim screw.
