Water Vent Line Improved To Withstand Engine Vibrations

Usage:


3208 Industrial (3Z) and Marine (1Z) Engines With Water Cooled Turbochargers

Description of Change: The water vent line on these engines, from the water cooled turbocharger to the expansion tank, has been changed from a one-piece tube to two tubes connected together by a rubber hose. The hose absorbs engine vibrations and reduces the possibility of tube failure.

Adaptable To: The new parts can be installed as direct replacements for the former tube assembly. The former 7N9818 Tube Assembly has been canceled and replaced by the following new parts.

One-8N4784 Tube Assembly
One-7C3399 Tube Assembly
One-6K713 Hose
Two-1P4278 Clamp

The illustration shows the location of the new parts. tighten the two clamps as shown.
