------ WARNING! ------

Do not operate or work on this product unless you have read and understood the instruction and warnings in the relevant Operation and Maintenance Manuals and relevant service literature. Failure to follow the instructions or heed the warnings could result in injury or death. Proper care is your responsibility.

The procedure below secures the power cables with a clearance of at least 2.5 cm (1 inch) where possible from sheet metal, bus bars, Glastic, current transformers, or other harnesses.

    (4) 7H-8213 Mat

  1. Route the power cable bundles to provide at least a 2.5 cm (1 inch) clearance from sheet metal, bus bars, Glastic, current transformers, or other harnesses.

  2. Wrap each power cable bundle with mat (4) with the seam on top and the smooth surface inside. Secure the mat to the bundle with two cable straps (3).

Note: The cable straps should only contact the battery mat. Cable straps have sharp edges which easily cut through wiring insulation.

  3. When hanging a cable bundle is necessary, proceed with steps 1 and 2. Then, hang the bundles to prevent contact with associated components using two cable straps (1).
