Default Screens

To set up the display, connect the service harness to the display and power up. Once powered, you will see the following default screens shown in Illustrations 1.

The screens are customizable and done by navigating through the different screen options to set as a custom default screens preferred by the user such as the following shown in Illustration 2.

Software Flashing

When flashing the display, follow these steps:

  1. Format a USB disk by right-clicking on the drive in your laptop and select 'Format'.

  2. Set File System to FAT,

  3. Save the file to the USB by clicking 'Start'.

  4. Right Click on the USB with saved file and select 'Eject'.

Service Passwords

No service passwords are required with the CMD5.

Splash Screens

  • Verify that the file name of you Splash Screen image does not contain any <space>.

  • EX) "CustomerScreen1.jpg"

  • Image Resolution: CMD5-800x480, CMD7–800x480, and CMD13-1280x800
