To help these customers locate the nearest Caterpillar Marine Engine dealer, toll-free numbers are available: 1-800-447-4986. In Illinois, customers can call collect 1-309-673-3252. These phone numbers apply only to calls made within the United States (including Alaska and Hawaii).

The 800 number operator will also mail sales literature, metal telephone plates, and directories to the customer upon request. The toll-free numbers are being promoted on items such as imprinted key chains and telephone plates, magazine advertisements, and T-shirts.
