MG507 Marine Transmission Uses Metric Fasteners
Usage:
3208 Marine Engines Used With MG507 Marine Transmissions
The Twin Disc MG507 Marine Transmission, which is used with 3208 Marine Engines, has metric fasteners. The bolt that holds the output flange to the shaft is the only inch (customary) fastener in this transmission. The metric bolts have an "M" or "ISO" stamped on the head. Servicemen must be careful to use metric fasteners in this transmission. The 3208 Marine Engine Parts Books show the correct part numbers for these fasteners.
