New Governor Drive Gears And Weight Assemblies
Usage:
3100 Series, D336, D353, D348, D349, D379, D398, D399 Engines;
G333, G343, G348, G349, G379, G398, G399, 3304 And 3306 Natural Gas Engines
Description of Change: A new gear assembly and weight assembly are now used in the governor drive groups on the above engines. The new gears in these assemblies are hardened to permit a longer service life. The number of teeth and the pitch of the new gears are different, so that they can not be used with the former gears. The former gears were not hardened.
Adaptable As: The new parts, when used together, are direct replacements for the former parts. The new and former parts are shown in the chart.
