Installation Procedure

Start By:

1. Install the fuel tank guards

Note: Remove all protective shipping covers, flanges, plugs, caps, clamps, cable straps, and material. Retain the bolts, washers, clamps, flanges, and O-ring seals.

Note: Clean all mounting and contact surfaces free of wax, dirt, debris, paint, and grease. Chase all unprotected threaded holes with an appropriately sized tap.

1. Remove eight bolts (11) and two covers (12).

2. Install two O-ring seals (8), two fillers (1), eight hard washers (9), and eight bolts (10).

3. Install one gasket (2), one strainer (3), one gasket (4), one plate (5), one ball (6), and one cover group (7). Repeat this step for the remaining filler.
