Description Of Change: A new controller has been introduced.

Adaptable To: New 460-6427 Controller replaces 291-1740 Controller.

Complete the training provided, Chapter 1 "Introduction to WMPC MCS", through to Chapter 7 "Alarm, Protection System Testing, and Adjusting" using 453-3204 MCS Alarm Monitoring System and refer to Tool Operating Manual, NEHS1199.

1. Inspect all the electrical connectors between the suspect sensor and the 291-1740 Controller.

2. Refer to the electrical schematic for your application and check for the following conditions:

   1. Loose connections

   2. Corrosion

   3. Moisture

3. If any of these conditions are present, make the necessary repairs.

4. Inspect all wiring between the suspect sensor and the 291-1740 Controller. Refer to the electrical schematic for your application and check for the following conditions:

   1. Abrasion

   2. Pinch points

5. If any of these conditions are present, make the necessary repairs.

6. Check that the suspect sensor is installed correctly and free from damage. Install the sensor correctly. If necessary, replace the suspect sensor.

7. If the issue is still present, then replace the exciting 291-1740 Controller with the new 460-6427 Controller.
