Lowering the Body with Engine Stopped

Usage:

794 AC HRT

  • If the engine is inoperable, turn the engine start switch (3) to the ON position.

  • Move hoist control (1) to the LOWER position.

  • Pull the load brake button switch (2) for 20 seconds.

  • If the body does not lower, or if the body does not lower completely, move the hoist control to the RAISE position for 15 seconds and repeat steps 2 and 3.

    Lowering without Electrical Power

    If the engine is inoperable and the machine is without electrical power, use an Auxiliary Power Unit (APU) as a separate hydraulic source. An APU that is designed to use with this machine is available through your Cat dealer. Consult your Cat dealer for further information on the selection and the proper operation of an APU.
