The problem identified below does not have a known permanent solution. Until a permanent solution is known, use the solution that is identified below.

Problem

In some cases, the bearings in the 244-1224 Fan Shaft Assembly have failed due to the bearing cover moving out of position.

Excess grease may result in excessive force on the bearing cover causing the bearing cover to push away from the bearing assembly.

Solution

1. Add 3 g of Mobil Ployrex EM grease every 250 hours to the fan bearing.

2. Add 8 g of Mobil Ployrex EM grease every 250 hours to the pulley bearing.
