Some differences may exist between the maintenance interval schedule included in the Caterpillar Industrial Engines Operation and Maintenance Manual shipped with the engine and the CLAAS (OEM) Operation and Maintenance Manual shipped with the CLAAS machine. It is acceptable to use the maintenance interval schedule in the CLAAS Manuals. Caterpillar and CLAAS have done specific testing on Caterpillar engines in CLAAS machines to approve the use of these different maintenance interval schedules, specifically for CLAAS equipment.
