There have been a number of isolated instances of issues with the 373-9526 Temperature Sensor on certain C3.4B engines. The issue is that there is a coolant leak from the coolant temperature sensor.

If there are signs of a coolant leak from the coolant temperature sensor, replace the coolant temperature sensor. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Coolant Temperature Sensor - Remove and Install" for the correct procedure.

Note: The coolant temperature sensor is an assembly that includes a sealing washer.

Ensure that the coolant is replaced using the correct method. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual for the correct procedure.
