Engine Oil Filter Base - Install

  1. Attach Tooling (B) and a suitable lifting device to engine oil filter base (3). The weight of engine oil filter base (3) is approximately 27 kg (59 lb).

  2. Position engine oil filter base (3) on the engine. Install bolts (1).

  3. Install bolts (4), the washers, and the nuts.

  4. Install tube assembly (9).

  5. Install tube assemblies (7) and (6).

  6. Connect hose assemblies (5) and (2).

  7. Install engine oil filters (8).

  8. Fill the lubrication system with engine oil. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Refill Capacities".
