Engine News, SEBD9963, 10, October 2014, "Improved Cylinder Head Assemblies Are Available through Cat Reman for Certain Commercial Engines". Disregard the previous article. The article that follows has updated part numbers.

All new 40.0 mm (1.57 inch) DI adapter heads have been improved to provide easier valve lash adjustments. Refer Table 1 for a list of part numbers of the cylinder head assemblies that include these changes.

Note: Do not reuse the old valve bridges, return the existing valve bridges with the head.

All new 55.0 mm (2.16 inch) DI adapter heads have been improved to include bolt holes for the use of exhaust shields. Refer Table 2 for a list of part numbers of the cylinder head assemblies that include these changes.
