The power converter is designed in order to provide the 12 VDC that is required to operate the object detection sensors. The converter converts 24 VDC to 12 VDC. The electrical system of the machine provides battery voltage to the converter via the circuit breaker and the main power relay for the system. The output circuit of the converter connects to the radar sensors. The power converter is located behind the cab. There is not a connection between the converter and the display. The display does not detect any failures in the circuits of the power converter. Although the radar sensors will report power issues with internal diagnostics of the sensors.
