			Clearance between the ends of the piston ring when assembled in a new cylinder liner of bore 137.2 mm (5.40 inch) is 0.46 ± 0.10 mm (0.018 ± 0.004 inch).
			Increase in clearance for each 0.03 mm (0.001 inch) increase in the cylinder liner bore is 0.09 mm (0.004 inch).
			Width of the groove in the new piston for the piston ring is 3.864 ± 0.010 mm (0.1521 ± 0.0004 inch).
2	1	100-5080 Piston Ring	Install the piston ring with side marked “UP-2” toward top of the piston.
			Thickness of the new piston ring is 2.97 to 3.00 mm (0.117 to 0.118 inch).
			Clearance between the ends of the piston ring when assembled in a new cylinder liner of bore 137.2 mm (5.40 inch) is 0.575 ± 0.175 mm (0.0226 ± 0.0069 inch).
			Increase in clearance for each 0.03 mm (0.001 inch) increase in the cylinder liner bore is 0.09 mm (0.004 inch).
			Width of the groove in the new piston for the piston ring is 3.060 ± 0.010 mm (0.1205 ± 0.0004 inch).
3	1	250-0872 Piston Ring	The ends of the spring coil should be placed 180 degrees from the end gap of the oil control piston rings.
			Thickness of the new piston ring is 3.975 ± 0.015 mm (0.1565 ± 0.0006 inch).

4	1	8N-1608 Piston Pin	Prior to assembly, thoroughly lubricate the piston pin with clean engine.
			Diameter is 50.795 ± 0.005 mm (1.9998 ± 0.0002 inch).
			Bore in the piston body for piston pin is 50.815 ± 0.005 mm (2.0005 ± 0.0002 inch).
5	2	7E-5665 Pin Retainer	Install the pin retainer to the piston as shown in Illustration 1.
A	-	-	Prior to assembly, lubricate the entire piston to 360 degrees with clean engine oil.
-	-	-	After installing the piston rings, rotate the piston rings so that the end gaps of the piston rings are placed at 120 degrees distance from each other.
