- Tighten the bolts 1 through 40 which secure the engine oil pan, in a numerical sequence to a torque of 47 ± 9 N·m (35 ± 7 lb ft). Refer to Illustration 1 for the proper torque sequence.
- Recheck the torque of bolts 1 through 40.

(A) Apply 4C-9612 Silicone Sealant on both sides of the ball and socket joints of the oil pan gasket.
