Relay Communications (SECI) PCA
The UPS can support two relay cards. The cards contain switches that are used to configure the cards for the application.

To verify that the cards are set up properly, perform the following procedure:
- Remove the RELAY PCA and verify the following:
- Verify that the SA1 switches are set correctly for the application.
- Verify that the SA2 switches are set correctly for the application.
- Repeat the verification for the second relay card, if present.

When the UPS contains an SNMP, WEB, or XML card, The customer can connect the UPS to the ethernet network. The customer must control the network parameters of the card to utilize this type of connection.

When the UPS contains a Modbus orJbus card, the customer may intend to connect the unit to an external monitoring system. You may need to change the communications parameters from the default values to prepare the card for the customers connection.
The customer will need to provide the values for each situation so that you can verify or update these values during the start-up. The customer can control the values when completing the BMS or SCADA connections.

Verify that the communications parameters and the dip switch settings are set to the default value or the customers specification.
