A New Flange Nut Is Now Used In the Glow Plug Group on Certain Generator Sets {1412, 7553}

Description of Change: A new flange nut replaces the former nut and the washer that is used in the glow plug group. The new flange nut has an extra surface area. The extra surface area of the flange nut eliminates the need for the washer. The new flange nut will better hold the glow plug wire on the rail.

The new 231-2839 Flange Nut (3) is a direct replacement for the former 155-8076 Nut (1) and the former 155-8077 Washer (2) in the glow plug group.
The new flange nut is adaptable to the genset GBE1-284 and GBD1-216.
The new flange nut is effective in production with the genset GBE285-UP and GBD217-UP.
