Description of Change: A new crankshaft seal adapter O-ring seal is used on the 3500 Family of Engines. The new seal is made of a higher temperature material (silicone rubber) which will help eliminate hardening of the seal.
Adaptable To: The new 5P5819 O-ring Seal is a direct replacement for the former 3S3074 O-ring Seal in all earlier engines which use the adapter for the front or rear crankshaft seal. See reference article.
