Puller Studs Of Same Size Can Have Different Work Capacities{0621}

Usage:

Puller studs, for use with center hole cylinder pullers, are made of different alloys steels and have different work capacities. It is necessary for a person who uses the puller to know the work capacity of the studs.

The application of too heavy a load, a load that is not balanced, or a load to a damaged puller stud can cause the stud to break.

The most common puller studs, for use with center hole cylinder pullers, are shown with their specifications in the chart which follows.

Use a metal marking tool to put identification of the work capacity on each puller stud in your service system. Any puller stud which has any indication of damage must be thrown away.

When the current supply of puller studs is gone, all new studs will have their work capacities stamped on them.
