Bore Vee Engines
Description of Change: A new liner seat insert is available for use in 6.25" Bore Vee Engines. The new insert can be used for the repair of cylinder blocks that have a crack in the cylinder liner counterbore.
Adaptable To: The new 5P8664 Liner Seat Insert can be used on all 6.25" Bore Vee Engines. Use the information in Special Instruction Form No. SMHS7221 to install the insert.
NOTE: Do not use O-rings. Use Permatex No. 2 Sealant around the studs.
