Description of Change:
Note: This Engine News article is only applicable to generator sets that are packaged with the 7C-3219 Fan Spider As .The fan blades have been changed from a steel material that is fastened to the hub by spot welds to an aluminum material that is fastened to the hub by rivets. This change has been made in order to minimize resonant vibration at normal operating speeds.
Adaptable To: The new 321-6952 Fan Spider As is a direct replacement for the existing 7C-3219 Fan Spider As, which is cancelled.
This change is effective for the serial numbers that are listed in Table 1.
