The 07 diagnostic code indicates that the position of the rotary switch does not match the 02 set point that was programmed into the Status Control Module (SCM).
Note: The Engine Control Switch (ECS) must be turned to the OFF/RESET position after programming a set point.
Test Step 1. Reset the SCM
- Turn the ECS to the OFF/RESET position.
- Turn the ECS to the COOLDOWN/STOP position.
Expected Result:
The 07 diagnostic fault code is not active.
Results:
- OK - The 07 diagnostic fault code is not active.
Repair: The problem is no longer present. If the problem is intermittent, inspect the electrical connectors and wiring.If necessary, repair the connectors or wiring and/or replace the connectors or wiring.Verify that the repair eliminates the problem.

Repair: The position of the rotary switch does not match the 02 set point that was programmed into the SCM. Proceed to Testing and Adjusting, "Setpoint Programming".
