Adjust all mirrors as specified in the Operation and Maintenance Manual. Failure to heed this warning can lead to personal injury or death.


------ WARNING! ------

Slips and falls can result in personal injury. Use the machine's access systems when adjusting the mirrors. If the mirrors cannot be reached using the machine access systems follow the instructions found within the Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Mirror" in order to access the mirrors.


Note: Your machine may not be equipped with all of the mirrors that are described in this topic.

Mirrors provide additional visibility around your machine. Make sure that the mirrors are in proper working condition and that the mirrors are clean. Adjust all mirrors at the beginning of each work period and adjust the mirrors when you change operators.

Modified Machines or machines that have additional equipment or attachments may influence your visibility.

Mirror Adjustment

  • Park the machine on a level surface.

  • Stop the engine.

Hand tools will be needed in order to adjust the mirrors. Refer to Specifications, SENR3130, "Torque Specifications" for the recommended torque.

Left Side Rear View Mirrors

Upper Left Side Rear View Mirror

Adjust the mirror (1) so that the engine enclosure is visible from the operator seat. Additionally, adjust the mirror so that the stairs are visible in the center of the mirror. Additionally, provide as much visibility to the rear as possible.

Lower Left Side Rear View Mirror

If equipped, adjust the mirror (2) so that the handrails of the platform are visible from the operator seat. Additionally, provide as much visibility to the rear as possible.

Note: Ensure that the mirror is mounted at the outermost end of the handrail.

Right Side Rear View Mirrors

Adjust the mirror (4) so that the engine enclosure is visible from the operator seat. Additionally, adjust the mirror so that the stairs are visible in the center of the mirror. Additionally, provide as much visibility to the rear as possible.

Lower Right Side Rear View Mirror
