Improved Travel Motors Are Now Used on Certain 973D Track-Type Loaders {3202, 5058}

- 973D (S/N: LCP1-UP)
Description of Change: Improvements have been made to the travel motor groups for the 973D Track-Type Loaders. These improvements will extend the service life of the travel motors. The following are improvements that have been made:
- Threaded pin located in the motor head group is now better secured in place, precoated with thread locker.
- The assembly torque for the threaded pin changed to 86 N·m (63 lb ft)

Note: There is no part number change with the improvement to either of these 288-5474 Piston Motor Gp and 310-9365 Piston Motor Gp.
