Improved Travel Motor Center Pin/Socket is Now Being Used in Certain 963D Track-Type Loaders {5058}

Description of Change: Changes have been made to the travel motor center pin/socket design in the 963D Track-Type Loaders that will improve the service life of the travel motor. Socket design optimized to:

  • Increase the nominal ball / socket clearance

  • Improve the form tolerance

Adaptable To:

Note: There was no part number change with the improvements to the 243-6645 Piston Motor Gp.

The changes to the travel motor optimized socket design are effective with the following machines:

  • 963D (S/N: LCS1190-UP)

The changes to the travel motor optimized socket design are adaptable to the following machines by replacing the travel motor:

  • 963D (S/N: LCS1-1189)
