Description of Change: An improved alternator guard is used in the belt guard group. The design provides the necessary alternator belt coverage and is a more robust guard. The new design will allow for the adjustment of the belt tension without unbolting a connection for a water lines group.
Adaptable To: The new 302-7332 Belt Guard Assembly also will allow for the adjustment of the belt tension once the 216-8510 Alternator Guard Assembly or the 288-6174 Alternator Guard Assembly is removed.
The new 302-7332 Belt Guard Assembly is a direct replacement for the 171-1359 Belt Guard Assembly and the 300-4498 Belt Guard Assembly .
The new 302-7332 Belt Guard Assembly is effective with the serial numbers that are listed in Table 1.
