Truck Engine News SEBD6791, June 2006, "New Variable Valve Actuator (VVA) Pressure Sensor Available {1130, 5574}". Disregard the information in the 0106 2006 Truck Engine News article. Refer to the information in the following article.

Improved pressure sensors (Variable Valve Actuators) are now available for the ACERT truck engines that are listed above.

Use the 284-2728 Pressure Sensor Group to service all engines with the following prefix effectivity:

  • C11, (S/N: KCA6124-UP)

  • C13, (S/N: KCB39999-UP)

  • C15, (S/N: BXS1-UP)

  • C15, (S/N: MXS1-UP)

The 224-4535 Pressure Sensor Group will still be used as the service replacement on the C11 (S/N: KCA1-6123) and the C13 (S/N: KCB1-39998).

Refer to Table 1 for service replacements for the pressure sensor (VVA) for C11, C13, and C15 ACERT engines.
