Introduction

The problem that is identified below does not have a known permanent solution. Until a permanent solution is found, use the solution that is identified below.

Problem

Due to the bug in the sensor software, the 266-1478 Position Sensor Gp outputs an incorrect random signal causing logged faults, warning lights, etc. The randomness of the incorrect output signal makes troubleshooting difficult.

Solution

(1) Change level of former 266-1478 Position Sensor Gp

When replacing the failed 266-1478 Position Sensor Gp with new 266-1478 Position Sensor Gp , only use 266-1478 Position Sensor Gp with change level 03 or higher. The Illustration 1 shows the 266-1478 Position Sensor Gp with change level 02 (1) .
