Start By:

  1. Separate the rear pump drive from the engine. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Pump Drive (Rear) from Engine - Separate".

  1. Position pump drive (1) onto Tooling (A) and suitable blocking. The weight of pump drive (1) is approximately 1610 kg (3550 lb).

  1. Attach Tooling (B) and a suitable lifting device to piston pump (2). The weight of piston pump (2) is approximately 181 kg (400 lb).

  1. Remove bolts (3) and piston pump (2) .

  1. Attach Tooling (B) and a suitable lifting device to piston pump (4). The weight of piston pump (4) is approximately 159 kg (350 lb).

  1. Remove bolts (5) and piston pump (4) .

  1. Remove bolts (7) and manifold (6) .

  1. Attach Tooling (B) and a suitable lifting device to coupling (9). The weight of coupling (9) is approximately 91 kg (200 lb).

  1. Remove flange (10) .

  1. Reposition the pump drive onto Tooling (A) and suitable blocking, as shown.

  1. Remove hose assembly (13). Remove bolts (12) and gear pump (11). Remove bolts (15) and piston pump (14) .

  1. Remove all tube assemblies (16) and all mounting hardware.

  1. Remove bolts (65). Use two of bolts (65) as forcing bolts in order to remove bearing cage (66). Remove bearing cage (66) and shims (69) .

  1. Remove lip seal (64), bearing cup (67), and O-ring seal (68) from bearing cage (66) .

  1. Attach Tooling (F) and a suitable lifting device to shaft assembly (70). The weight of shaft assembly (70) is approximately 45 kg (100 lb). Remove shaft assembly (70) .

  1. Use a suitable press in order to remove the remaining bearing cone.
