Location of the 24 VDC Power Supply (1) 24 VDC Power Supply |
The 24 VDC Power Supply (1) is located on the upper left panel of the cabinet for the flywheel. The power supply (1) is a 24V/350W supply that is used to convert incoming AC voltage to 24 VDC for use by the system.
Removal Procedure

Refer to Systems Operation, Testing and Adjusting, RENR7654, "Internal Component Preremoval Steps (Flywheel Cabinet)" in order to shut down the system and gain access to internal components.
- Disconnect the three wires from the bottom of the power supply (1) by removing the terminal screws. Verify the labels on the wiring for subsequent installation.
- Loosen mounting screws (3) and (5) that hold the bottom of the power supply to the left panel.
Note: The bottom brackets are tabbed in order to allow removal of the power supply by loosening the bottom screws.
- Remove mounting screws (2) and (4) from the top of the mounting plate for the power supply.
- Remove the red DC wire and the black DC wire from the top of the power supply.
- Remove the two wire connector from the top of the power supply.
Installation Procedure
- Connect the red DC wire and the black DC wire to the top of the power supply. Refer to illustration 2.
- Connect the two wire connector to the top of the power supply.
- Install the two bottom mounting tabs over the screws (3) and (4), in order to hold the unit in place.
Note: Ensure that the tabs fit between the panel and the washer.
- Tighten the two bottom screws (3) and (5) .
- Install the top screws (4) and (2).
- Connect the AC wires to the bottom of the power supply. Refer to illustration 2.
